Free 3D Hearse .Obj File

Halloween is almost here, and so I was out looking for some great spooky 3D models to play with. While out looking around at free content, I couldn’t help but notice a serious lack of fun free 3d hearse models. I did however locate one model, which was unfinished without material zones or rigging. The model I found was originally created a few years ago by Declan McCulloch, which he posted to his sketchfab account.

So I sat down with Blender and worked on polishing this gem of a find and am sharing the .obj file with you all now for your own use. If you are a Daz 3D Studio user, or Poser user you can still use this model. In fact this model should work in pretty much any 3D program.

Now not far from where I live they use to have an annual hearse drag racing event. I don’t think it happens anymore. So in the spirit of such, if any of you do some drag racing 3D art with these hearses drop me a line. I’d love to see your drag racing hearses.

For this simple screenshot the models had applied to them very basic materials. Without a doubt you can do something much more interesting and grand.

You are welcome to use this model in private and commercial renders, with credit given to Declan and myself. The model is set up with a variety of material zones to allow for you to customize this classic as you so desire. I also made it a point to set up the license plates with their own unique material zones allowing for you to have fun with the plates.

What you can NOT do is resell, or repack this hearse model. If you would like to repost this model as a freebie elsewhere, just ask me first.

Download the updated FREE hearse file here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iyNuvaynZ8xkyIcatLb7K6TGxnZgfFMy?usp=sharing – it is an .obj

Can you use these models inside Daz 3D Studio? YES! These models will work just fine in Daz, and only need to be imported. If you are new to this concept I wrote a tutorial to help you. Tutorial: Daz 3D Studio Tutorial on how to import and save .obj and .fbx 3d files to Daz: https://mooncraftrp.com/index.php/2020/04/19/using-sketchfab-models-in-daz3d-tutorial/

In the rear of the 3d hease is a casket, and there is a bucket seat in the front with steering wheel and stick shift.

If you want to see the original file without the material zone work by me, it is up on sketchfab. Original model and credits here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/1975-cadillac-miller-meteor-caeb3d64bc4a43c09a13265a18d12b1f (this is NOT my updated model, it does not have material zones set).
